The advantageous optional anonymity offered by Zcash makes it a significant player in the market today. Zcash coin or the ZEC is the native token of the Zcash Network with the smallest subunit value of 'zatoshi'. ZEC can be sold and bought for fiats like US dollars or other digital currencies. This token can also be used to purchase goods and services. The protocol supports low transaction fees. Zcash as digital cash offers privacy features likened to that of debit or credit card transactions, international wire transfers, and wire transfers within the US banking system. It can be unlocked with mining and has a finite supply of 21 million ZEC. The latest market cap is valued at $1.3 billion with 12 million ZEC in circulation.
